Kaitlin Philley focuses her practice on the areas of estate planning, probate, and guardianship. She helps craft uniquely tailored estate plans to meet each family’s or individual’s particular needs and goals. In addition, she empathetically holds her clients’ hands as she helps them navigate through the probate and guardianship processes.

Kaitlin is experienced in the creation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and other estate planning documents to assist everyone in achieving their goals. She also assists individuals in the probate court as they undertake independent administration, dependent administration, muniment of title, affidavit of heirship, and other probate procedures to aid families through the often-confusing probate process. She understands the different family dynamics that come into play in these delicate situations and has personal experience that makes her an asset to families and individuals.

Kaitlin is an active member of many community organizations including the Arlington Bar Association. She enjoys educating the community in the areas of estate planning and probate and changing the way people generally view a lawyer. Kaitlin also enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering and participating in the Mansfield Kiwanis Club. This organization is dedicated to improving the lives of children who reside within the Mansfield Independent School District.

Kaitlin earned her law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity and was recognized for her volunteer work with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma. In 2007, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington where she graduated summa cum laude.
